Terms & Conditions

1. Scope of service

Corporación Peruana de Abogados ("CPA") provides legal advice and representation focused on divorce proceedings in Peru, Exequátur (recognition of foreign judgments), and related matters — delivered remotely to clients living in Peru or abroad.

The service covers case review, drafting and filing of the required documents, court representation, and legal support through to the final outcome of the plan you selected.

2. Engagement terms

Your engagement begins once you accept these terms and pay the fees for the plan you chose, based on the prices shown on our site or the custom quote you agreed to.

  • You agree to provide truthful, complete, and timely information.
  • CPA reserves the right to decline cases where there's a conflict of interest, a legal barrier, or insufficient information.
  • Estimated timelines are guidelines and depend on court caseloads and the agencies involved.

3. Client responsibilities

  • Provide the requested documents on time.
  • Stay in active contact with your assigned legal team.
  • Meet the agreed-upon payment obligations.
  • Let us know about any relevant change in your personal or legal situation.

4. Service limitations

CPA acts with professional diligence but does not guarantee a specific outcome, since legal cases depend on court and agency decisions we don't control. Fees cover end-to-end case management but don't include court fees, notary or registry costs, or official translations unless explicitly stated.

5. Payments

Payments go through the gateways available on the site (Culqi, PayPal, and others) or any other method CPA specifies. International payments are securely processed by authorized providers. Once your payment is confirmed, you'll receive a receipt and the service will officially begin.

6. Confidentiality

Everything you share with CPA is protected by attorney-client privilege and used solely to deliver the service you hired.

7. Data protection

Personal data is handled under our Privacy Policy and Peru's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 29733).

8. Changes to these terms

CPA may update these terms when needed. Any changes will be posted on this page and take effect upon publication.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Peru. Any dispute will be settled by the courts of Lima, Peru.
