Refund Policy

Last updated: May 25, 2026

At Corporación Peruana de Abogados ("CPA") we're upfront about how the fees you pay are used. This policy explains when a refund does or does not apply.

1. When a refund applies

  • If, after payment, CPA determines your case isn't legally viable or there's a blocker we didn't catch during the initial review.
  • If you request a refund within 7 calendar days of payment, as long as no legal work has begun, no filings have been submitted, and no resources have been allocated to your case.
  • If there's a confirmed duplicate charge or a payment-gateway error.

2. When a refund does not apply

  • Once the service has started, in full or in part (document preparation, court filings, hearings, notary or registry work).
  • If you back out of the process for reasons outside CPA's control — including reconciling, changing your mind, or not turning over the required documents.
  • If the information you provided was false, incomplete, or inaccurate and that prevents us from moving forward.
  • On legal reviews already delivered: once we hand off your diagnosis or legal plan, it counts as a delivered service.
  • On court fees, notary fees, registry costs, or consular charges that we've already paid to third parties on your behalf.

3. Services already underway

Once legal work has started, the fees you've paid go toward the professional work already completed and aren't refundable. In some cases we may consider a partial refund based on how much of the service has been delivered.

4. Processed payments

Approved refunds are issued through the same payment method you used originally (Culqi, PayPal, or another), within up to 15 business days of approval. The final settlement time depends on your bank.

5. How to request a refund

To request a refund, email contacto@cpaabogados.pe with your full details, the payment date and amount, and the reason for your request. Our team will review your case and respond within 7 business days.
